Gateway's youth in grades 7 to 12 are invited to experience “An Eclectic Christmas” on Sunday night, December 6.  It is a massive walk-through nativity that is held in Eclectic, Alabama, which is about 40 minutes from Gateway.  Over the course of the 45-minute journey, you will walk along a 3/4 mile path and be immersed in a live drama that is set during the time of the Roman Empire.  Your journey will take you past Roman soldiers on horseback preparing for the census, through a field where shepherds encounter angels, through Bethlehem, to a manger in a stable with a newborn baby, and even past wise men on their journey.

Gateway’s youth group has purchased a block of 40 tickets so our teens can enjoy this immersive Christmas experience with their friends.  There is no cost to you to attend, but advanced registration is required.  Because of the limited number of tickets, registration is open to youth and adult chaperones only.

The youth will meet in the Gateway parking lot at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 6.  From there, the youth group’s adult chaperones with minivans will drive the youth to the event site.  Please arrive no later than 6:00 p.m. to make sure we can make it on time to the nativity experience, and have time to fellowship over hot chocolate there before embarking on our adventure together.  The group should return to Gateway around 9:30 p.m.

The registration deadline is Sunday, November 29.
