Proverbs 3:5 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart..."

QUIET RETREAT IS BACK!

Let’s set aside 24 hours to fellowship, praise, and spend time mediating on God’s Word. For this retreat, we will carpool to Vineyard Christian Retreat Center in Ariton, Alabama, about one and a half hours from Gateway.

We will plan to depart at 3:30 pm on Friday, November 6, and return around the same time on Saturday, November 7. We’ll stay in the same conference lodge as last time, where each person has her own room (each pair of rooms is connected by a bathroom).

Whether you are returning or it will be your first visit, we hope you will join us! 

We’ll begin and end with prayer and sharing, along with a fellowship meal. The time from Friday after dinner until Saturday at lunch is intended to be set aside for quiet activities. Rest, walk, pray, read, or journal. It can take time to settle in, get quiet, and listen to God.

This retreat provides you with just that! Time at the lodge, on wooded trails with benches, or at the lakeside. Time to connect with God.
