Students in grades 7-12 are invited to join us for a retreat weekend at Gateway on October 9-10 to help them grow in their understanding of God's Word, build friendships, and have a lot of fun!

During our retreat, we will work through a previous Secret Church video series, "How to Study the Bible" from pastor and author David Platt.  During the four main sessions, students will learn practical tools for studying and understanding God's Word for themselves.  Our desire is that they will grow in their confidence and desire to spend time in Scripture.   Each video session will be followed by small-group discussion where students can discuss what they are learning and how to apply it to their lives.

We also will have times of praise, games, dinner on Friday evening, a taco/nacho bar for lunch on Saturday, and a Youth Olympics team competition on Saturday afternoon!  All of this will take place on campus at Gateway, with students spending the night at home with their families on Friday night.

  Friday, October 9

5:30 p.m.     Arrival, dinner, and fellowship
6:30 p.m.     Welcome, praise, and prayer
7:00 p.m.     Session 1 with small group discussions
8:45 p.m.     Session 2 with small group discussions
10:30 p.m.   Dismissal

  Saturday, October 10

9:00 a.m.      Arrival, morning praise, and review
9:15 a.m.      Session 3 with small groups
11:00 a.m.    Session 4 with small groups
12:30 p.m.    Lunch (Taco/Nacho Bar)
1:15 p.m.      Free time & get ready for games
2:00 p.m.      Gateway Youth Olympics
4:30 p.m.      Final gathering, reflection & prayer
5:30 p.m.      Dismissal

There is no cost to attend!  However, advanced registration is required, and the deadline to register is Sunday, October 4.
