Gateway members,

As a congregational church, the accountability for what we do rests with you, not with a denomination or group outside of Gateway.  As such, we gather once a year for an annual member meeting.  This year's annual meeting will be on Sunday, December 13, after the worship service.

Because we want each of you to participate, we will provide a free pizza lunch for you and your family in the gymnasium immediately following the worship service on Sunday, December 13.  We want to make it easier for you and your family to attend, so we will gather while we all already are on campus and provide lunch as well!  Lunch will be from 12:00 noon until 12:30 p.m.  After we eat lunch together, members will return to the sanctuary for our annual member meeting from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. at the latest.  This will enable attendees to continue to fellowship at The Gathering, and children to have a space to run around and play (see below).

We value this opportunity to share with you what is happening at Gateway and where we are headed in the upcoming year.  And yes, we will discuss and ask you to approve the proposed 2027 budget, which is an important part of congregational accountability in the church.  A summary of that proposed budget will be emailed to all members on November 30, and copies of the full line-by-line budget will be available in the church office beginning that day as well for those who have further questions about it.

We want to encourage - and boldly ask - that every member make it a priority to attend.

Please note - The member meeting time is only for members and their immediate families.  
Those in the membership process are welcome to attend and listen to what is discussed.  

Also, childcare is NOT provided during the meeting.  Children and teenagers are welcome to remain with you in the sanctuary for the meeting.  If your children are not able to do so, we will have the gym open during this time.  However, one parent will need to remain with their children in the gym to supervise them, while the other parent participates in the member meeting.  Supervised childcare is not available during this time.

To save time, only one adult per family needs to register. 
You will be prompted in registration for how many others in your family will be joining you.
