On Sunday mornings, Gateway's greeters play an important role in what happens on this campus. By practicing hospitality, our greeters help everyone feel welcomed and loved, and help new people navigate the campus and get connected. It is an important part of our Sunday gatherings, and all it takes is a heart that loves God and others, and a willing smile!
We are in need of several people to help us on the greeting team on Sunday mornings:
DOOR GREETERS
Door greeters serve at two times, from 8:45 to 9:15 to welcome people to Bible study and help them find the classrooms if they are new, and then again from 10:15 to 10:40 to welcome people coming to the worship service.
SANCTUARY GREETERS
These greeters serve from 10:15 to 10:40, and are located within the sanctuary prior to the worship service to welcome both guests and members. In addition, they help people locate available seats in the sanctuary as it fills up.
Volunteers serve on a rotation basis, typically one Sunday per month.
If you are interested in serving, please contact Amylynne and Kevin Blake, and they would love to help you get connected! This is a great opportunity to serve, as well as to help you get to know more of the church family!
