That's how many meals Gateway has delivered over the past 32 weeks to Capitol Heights Middle School (CHMS) families! 

Over 32 weeks we have delivered 11,682 meals (at an average cost of $1.37/meal) to 15 different families comprising 80 people.  What an incredible work the Lord has done in revealing himself to us and the CHMS families!  Thank you for your faithfulness to pray, volunteer, and give; we could not have done it without you.  It has been amazing to experience the Lord empower his Church to minister to people close to his heart.

Even though the food delivery aspect of our ministry is coming to a close, we will continue ministering to the poor and oppressed in Montgomery by partnering with CHMS to begin a food backpack program.  The backpacks have been purchased, Rachelle Whatley has volunteered to coordinate the food purchasing, and numerous people have volunteered to stuff backpacks.  Please let me know if you want to help.

• Pray that the Lord would use the backpack program to demonstrate his love to CHMS and the students and families we will be serving. 
• Pray that the Lord would allow us to find good deals on food and a place to store the food. 
• Pray that we would be able to resume the Bible study on CHMS's campus soon. 
• Pray that the Lord would open the door to serve even more schools.
