Online Giving Information
NEW FOR 2025 --- Did you know that you now can GIVE STOCK to contribute to Gateway? By donating stock directly, you release more of that gift for Kingdom purposes than selling it yourself and giving a portion of the proceeds. Gateway can receive stock at no cost to you or to us. Contact the church office for the account details to do so.
To help prevent fraud, you must first login to your Gateway online account to give online. When you select "give now," it will prompt you to login before proceeding. If you have any difficulty accessing your online account, please contact the church office.
What payment method options can I choose from?
The on-line giving program is configured to accept direct payments from checking or savings accounts. We also accept credit and debit card payments.
How often will payments be pulled from my account?
The program can be configured to pull funds from your account at a frequency that's right for you. You can login and give at any time, or set up recurring contributions at the frequency you choose.
Is it secure?
Yes. This member portal is hosted directly by our church database software, and these online giving options are tied directly into TransNational, one of the nation's largest online payment processing companies. In case you are curious, they provide a big discount to non-profits like us, so we pay only a small monthly fee and a few cents per transaction. Know that it not only is secure, but that almost everything you give comes directly to Gateway.
How can I obtain a record of my giving?
Your profile provides you with the ability to view and print your contribution statements for the general budget for any period of time. Official contribution statements for tax purposes will still be mailed to you at the beginning of each year.
How do I update my bank account or credit card information?
If you need to edit your bank account of credit card information please delete your existing giving profile and create a new giving profile on this part of the site
How do I change recurring giving?
You can make changes at any time by using the "View Giving Profiles" button on the sidebar. Once you login you can change any of your preferences or stop your recurring giving. If you have any trouble please feel free to contact the church office and we will be glad to assist you.
Can I give online to designated accounts?
At this time, online giving is available for contributions to the following:
- Gateway's general budget
- HOPES / Capitol Heights School Outreach
- Benevolence fund contributions
- Resource center purchases
If you would like to contribute to a different designated account, that will need to be done with
checks and cash on Sunday mornings or brought to the office during the week.
